Ford Focus FX TDi Estate Review
This is the quirky estate version of the hugely popular Focus range. It's not as common as the hatchback, but shares many of its virtues. As easy to drive and live with as the hatch, there are a wide range of engines and trim levels. It's roomy and the best used, or new, 1.8 TDCi makes a good buy. On top of all of that there's even a warm version - the ST170
.
Although the earlier TDi diesel models are a bit rough and old fashioned they are still very frugal. Later TDCis are quieter, sip fuel and are much better to drive. Surprising to see the 2.0
ST170 with the estate bodystyle - looks good and goes well. A good choice for the faster family.
