Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 HDi Review
The Xsara Picasso may not be the most sophisticated or practical people carrier around but it is still one of the most popular on the market - even with the far superior C4 Picasso available. That's mainly due to its generous levels of standard equipment and low price tag.
It's not without its strengths though. Comfortable, spacious and safe it's a decent MPV and makes a very good people carrier
The Xsara Picasso has been available with six different engines over its lifetime - three diesels and three petrols with the diesels being a far better choice. The larger 2.0HDi is not the one to go for - it's an older engine than the 1.6HDi which was launched in 2004. The 110bhp 1.6HDi offers more power than the 90bhp 2.0-litre version and is smoother, quieter and more economical too.
